Graeme Blundell

Graeme Blundell got his start in the industry with stints at La Mama Theatre, The Pram Factory, Hoopla, Playbox Theatre Company, and Melbourne Theatre Company. In the world premiere of "Dimboola" by Jack Hibberd, he supervised and performed. As an unnamed background actor, he made his television premiere in the initial episode of "Homicide," which aired in 1964.
Blundell is also known as the lead actor in the comedy films "Alvin Purple" in 1973 and "Alvin Rides Again" a year later. In 2021, he made regular appearances on "Screen," and the show's episodes may be seen in their entirety on YouTube.
Wendy Blacklock

Wendy Blacklock has performed on the radio, theater, and television. She attended the Rathbone School of Dramatic Art after growing up in Lindfield. Blacklock spent the first 50 years of her career performing in revues, pantomimes, and musicals. During the "New Wave" era, when Australian theater and drama underwent a radical change, she took the main role in "Pardon Miss Westcott," the first Australian musical tv production, shown on ATN 7 in 1959.

Maggie Dence

Tony Sattler

In collaboration with fellow Australian writer Gary Reilly, Tony Sattler created the hit sitcoms "The N*ked Vicar Show" and "Kingswood Country" on Australian television. In Sydney, where they met, they began collaborating on the creation of ads and jingles.
In 1972, Sattler was a creative director at George Patterson Y&R in Brisbane. After selling their initial property and waiting 18 months, he and his wife, Noeline Brown, have decided to return to the area they loved in 2020. His last known public action included a $1.7 million purchase of a four-bedroom house on an acre of land in Mittagong that he got alongside his spouse.

Jeff Kevin

Australian performer and theater director Jeff Kevin is optimally recognized for his role as Arnold Feather on the long-running '70s soap opera "Number 96," in which he appeared in 338 episodes between 1972 and 1977. During that time, his character was engaged in several memorable plotlines, such as his relationship with Patti Olsen and sorrow after her mortality at the hands of the Pantyhose strangler.
His love for Robyn Ross, who was discovered as transgender, is also remembered. Kevin left the performing industry to teach theater at Wollongong until his retirement in 2003. There are no records of his actions in 2022, yet his continued existence is certain.
Chard Hayward

Australian-American performer Chard Hayward is perhaps best recognized for his recurring role as hippie-era camp bartender Dudley Butterfield in the '70s serial opera "Number 96." Happy Days at Old Fitz Theatre might have been canceled too soon in June 2021 owing to Sydney's closure caused by the pandemic, but the veteran performer has been keeping himself occupied since then. The Greek-Australian onstage and film legend had a new job as a podcast presenter for Australians aged 55 and above as he waited to reprise his role in the Samuel Beckett drama that year.
Maggie Millar

Maggie Millar is a multi-talented Australian who has worked in public communications, radio, and television. "Bellbird" and "Prisoner" are two of her most notable TV appearances. She came out of retirement in 2002 when with a role in the Australian soap opera "Neighbours." However, she was pushed out of the program after only one year and didn't return to acting until 2016.
Millar also spent a good deal of time acting on advisory boards in New South Wales and Victoria. There she questioned the media's unfavorable perceptions about aging and helped women who were having trouble with it—and still going at it as of 2022.

Since 1988, he's played the part, and in 2010, he received a Gold Logie Award for his dedication to the job over so many years. Pete Smith

Peter Smith spent the majority of his career as a broadcaster for GTV-9 Melbourne, where he was responsible for several high-profile shows, including "Sale of the Century." He started his career at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a messenger boy when he dropped out of school, and he eventually became an announcer for ABC's home services and Radio Australia.
Smith was the announcer and presenter of the Saturday afternoon ABC TV show "Sports View Hit Parade" when television first debuted in Australia. He is devoted to helping the community in 2022, serving as a life ambassador for Australia Day and as the president and patron of the GTV Foundation.
Philip Brady

Philip Brady is a radio and TV presenter as well as voice actor who was born and educated in Kew, Victoria. Molly Meldrum

Australian music reviewer Ian Alexander Meldrum, nicknamed "Molly," is a record composer and businessman in the industry. He oversaw guest appearances, conducted interviews, and reported on the latest news in the music industry. He became famous for always donning a signature Stetson.
A bronze statue honoring his exceptional contribution to the music business was sculpted by renowned Melbourne-based artist Louis Laumen and cast at Meridian Foundry in Fitzroy. As of 2022, it stands in Wangaratta Street Park in Richmond. While he hasn't been seen in public much in that year, he did attend the memorial service for Shane Warne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Anthony Barber

Anthony Barber has been a fixture in British and Australian media, serving as a radio broadcaster, a vocalist, and a presenter for television game shows. In 1960, he graduated from Dartmouth's Britannia Royal Naval College. In 1961, he relocated to Geraldton, Western Australia, where he started his media profession as an apprentice reporter at radio station 6GE.
Barber made an almost indistinguishable appearance on "A Current Affair" on Channel Nine in 2022. Even though he is not very social media savvy, he did repost a tweet on his Twitter account earlier that year, so we can safely conclude that he is well.
Les Hiddins

Les Hiddins, or rather, Major Leslie James Hiddins, served in South Vietnam twice with the Australian Army between 1966 and 1968, initially as an infantry advance scout. He began studying ways to stay alive in Australia's far north after receiving a Defense Fellowship in 1980.
Hiddins has traveled throughout Australia in a Land Rover Perentie and, subsequently, a County 110 while wearing his signature hat in search of and providing information on natural Australian bush cuisine, sometimes known as "The Bush Tucker Man." He was featured on two different ABC TV shows, the original "Bush Tucker Man" and the spinoff "Bush Tucker Man: Stories of Exploration and Survival."
Susie Elelman

Television personality, radio host, and published author Susie Elelman has been named the Upper Lachlan Shire's 2020 Australia Day Ambassador. It has been said that she, as one of Australia's most varied, knowledgeable, and experienced media figures, is a true multi-media presenter.
Elelman has been a broadcaster on "Good Morning Australia" for eight years with Bert Newton, on "The Morning Show" for seven years with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies, a panelist on "Beauty and the Beast" with Stan Zemanic for many years. The fact that she is a contributing editor to "News Now" as of 2022 proves that she is very much still alive.
Peter Hitchener

It's fair to say there are a few journalists with the same competence, reputation, and honesty level as Peter Hitchener. He is one of Australia's most recognized and renowned news broadcasters. Hitchener achieved 48 years as a newsperson in 2013, the last 40 of which were spent with the Nine Network. This is a tremendous accomplishment in any area, but especially in the cutthroat world of television news.
Outside of his hectic job schedule, his social life remained relatively constant in 2022. He devotes a considerable amount of his effort to community service and volunteers his time and energy to several organizations that provide a haven for persons with special needs.
Jo Hall

Jo Hall is widely regarded as the most accomplished and seasoned female TV correspondent and host in Victoria. She has established herself as a leading player in both the acting and filmmaking industries. After completing a training contract at a Melbourne neighborhood newspaper, Hall joined Nine News in 1979 as a junior reporter.
In 1990, she made history when she became the first female journalist to receive the coveted Thorn Award for her coverage of the standoff at Hawthorn Kindergarten the previous year, in May. As of 2022, she is still very much alive and is functioning as the Regional Victoria Presenter for Nine News.
Ugly Dave Gray

For most viewers, Ugly Dave Gray will always be remembered as a participant in Graham Kennedy's "Blankety Blanks" from 1977 to 1978. When the soap drama "The Young Doctors" first aired in 1976, he had a prominent part in a few episodes.
Before appearing on "Blankety Blanks," Gray accepted a wage reduction after being persuaded to appear on the program by none other than Graham Kennedy. In 2011, he was able to retire from active work and devote more time to other pursuits. In addition, he still enjoys cracking jokes in 2022, a trait that has defined him throughout his tenure.
Patti Newton

Patti Newton is an Australian entertainer who has been on radio and television and is well known for her singing and dancing. She used to perform under her maiden surname, McGrath, on shows including the "Tarax Show" and "The Graham Kennedy Show" before she was married. She was named Victoria's Favorite Female Performer in 1967 and so received the Logie Award.
Newton announced her return to work nine months after the loss of her spouse Bert in October 2021. She joined the ensemble of "Mary Poppins" as Bird Woman for the Brisbane engagement of the original series by Disney and Cameron Mackintosh.
Noeline Brown

Noeline Brown has been a fixture of Australian theater and film since the '60s, and she shows no signs of slowing down for her age. After being under quarantine in 2020, she joined Max Gillies and John Wood in Bunbury Production's first national tour of "Mono," a comedy project with three of Australia's most beloved comedians.
According to the 2021 interview for Seniors Today, she thought the partnership was wonderful. As of 2022, Brown and her spouse, the author Tony Sattler, may be found in the Southern Highlands, where they manage a successful production business and where she continues to do what she loves: writing, acting, and helping charities.
Richard Wilkins

Richard Wilkins is a radio and TV host from New Zealand and Australia. He earned a degree in education and went on to study English and music. In 1980, people saw him bringing his group Wilde And Reckless down under. Aside from touring with Grace Jones, he also released a few singles and an EP with six tracks. He has served as Nine Network's entertainment editor, co-host of "Weekend Today," weekend presenter for SmoothFM, and director of presentations.
George Negus
George Negus is an Australian columnist, author, TV and radio broadcaster, and diplomat who is known for presenting international issues. He presented Network Ten's program called "6.30 with George Negus." He went to secondary school in the Brisbane suburb of Indooroopilly, Queensland, where Indooroopilly State High School is located. He got his certificates in both journalism and the arts at Queensland.
Negus gained widespread recognition as a reporter for "This Day Tonight," innovative ABC events show airing in the late '60s and early '70s. He still serves as a director of his media consulting firm, Negus Media International, in 2022.
Ray Martin

Ray Martin is a well-established Australian TV host and reporter. Having taken home the Gold Logie an unprecedented five times, he is tied with Graham Kennedy as Australia's most popular television personality.
After Mike Walsh departed to anchor a similar lunchtime format with "The Mike Walsh Show" in 1978, he became popular for his many on-air jobs at Channel Nine, including his lengthy run as presenter of the diverse selection of "The Midday Show." Aside from his stints on-screen, photography has been one of Martin's greatest interests. His documentary "Norfolk Island with Ray Martin" is available on SBS on Demand.
Michael Walsh

Ex-host on Australian radio and TV, Michael Walsh is an Australian native. His "The Mike Walsh Show" included local and foreign visitors and Hollywood artists. Walsh presided over this program from its inception in 1973 till it ended in 1985. Before moving to the Nine Network, it debuted on the 0-10 channel. A total of 24 Logies were given out, and Walsh was honored with the golden one.
As of 2022, his official website and business activities center on the ownership and operation of live theaters and the production of plays in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
Daryl Somers

Daryl Somers, a triple Gold Logie Award winner, became a household name with the popular comic variety show "Hey Hey, It's Saturday." He has also maintained his place in the spotlight as the presenter of the dance competition series "Dancing with the Stars."
In 2004, Somers was given a Medal of the Order of Australia, and in 2018, Australia Post released a set of stamps featuring his likeness in celebration of his achievements. In 2021, a special celebrating 50 years of "Hey Hey, It's Saturday" was ratings smash. The network planned to revive the massively successful variety program in 2022, and they did so under the name "Hey Hey It's 100 Years."
John Mangos

One of Australia's most well-known newscasters is named John Mangos. He has worked as a news anchor for Sky News Australia in the past. He started working as a journalist at the GTV 9 office in Melbourne, Australia, in 1978 for National Nine News.
As of 2022, Mangos has settled in Sydney, Australia, where he heads up a media consulting firm he called Megisti Media, after the Greek island of Kastellorizo, where his ancestors originally hail from. In addition to his work in the media, he is the director of media for FTI Consulting, an international economic business communications project.
Veronica Lang

Australian performer Veronica Lang earned both the Australian Film Institute Prize and the Logie TV Award for her supporting roles in the films "Don's Party" and "A Good Thing Going," respectively. She began her career in theater and television in England, later returning home after playing in America.
She has been in a wide variety of TV shows, including "Vietnam," in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman, "Murder in Mind," "The Bill," "The Dragon's Opponent," "Moon and Sun," and "Heartbeat." As of 2022, she is being very private about her life and career; thus, very little is known about her except that she is still very much alive.
