1. Exercising

Studies show that people feel happier with only ten minutes of activity. If you’re looking for happiness, try fitness such as yoga or dancing, choose the activity that uplifts your mood.

2. Having Sex

A recent survey recorded the level of happiness through a smartphone app and sex was the activity that had the recorded high levels. Further research shows a positive relationship between happiness and sexual frequency.

3. Eat Dark Chocolate

A study was conducted on 13000 people who consumed dark chocolate at two 24 hours intervals. These people reported fewer depressive symptoms than those who consumed no chocolate at all. Chocolate has phenylethylamine, which helps stimulate and uplift the mood.

4. Petting A Dog Or A Cat

Research shows petting a cat or a dog when you’re stressed out can release your stress in 10 minutes. So, that is the easiest way to be happy and relaxed.

5. Eat Magnesium

Magnesium is required for the proper functioning of our body. Despite this, 70% of people don’t get even the minimum amount needed for daily functioning. Magnesium helps regulate the body’s stress response system. It also helps ease anxiety, mental, and physical stress. Magnesium deficiency has been outlined as the main source of depression. Hence, include lots of magnesium-rich foods such as leafy greens, dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds, and almonds in your diet.

6. Cooking

Research shows that cooking has a positive impact on stress and mood. You don’t necessarily have to cook difficult meals to feel happy, it can be done quickly as well. For example, making an avocado and egg toast can be done in less than ten minutes but the happiness will be lasting.
